Joey Arias just might be the diva that keeps on going! This legendary performance artist, cabaret singer and drag sensation has had a long and diverse career, beginning his rise to fame in the late 70s with performances alongside Klaus Nomi, David Bowie and Iggy Pop and most recently in the 2009 GLAAD Awarded, Arias with a Twist.
With her glitzy outfits, sky-high wigs and eyelashes long enough to make Tammy Faye Bakker blush, drag artiste Lady Bunny has been a fixture on the New York scene since the 80s. As she states, “Lady Bunny is a glittering comet hurtling toward planet show biz”…. lucky for us, with a stop in Montreal.
