ABOUT

Divers/Cité is a non profit organization whose major aspiration is to create and foster understanding of the richness of difference and diversity through the presentation of a unifying and multidisciplinary performing arts festival, one that illustrates and celebrates the value of diversity in a spirit of sharing, solidarity and openness with the world.

Divers/Cité aims to create a dynamic synergy among the artistic milieu that is reflected in the make-up of the audiences. The always increasing popularity of Divers/Cité is due to the quality of its programming, its presentation and its execution. Divers/Cité is also known for its professionalism and friendly atmosphere.  All of the shows are offered outdoor and free to the public. We believe that music and art are the best means to draw people together, unifying them.

Divers/Cité presents a multidisciplinary smattering of cinema, photography, dance, drag, multimedia as well as concerts that span the gamut of blues, jazz, pop, disco, rock, Latin, house, techno and electronic music.

The Festival site consists of three different stages, all working simultaneously during Divers/Cité’s final weekend.
