The Divers/Cité Cultural Festival consists of broad cultural programming whose main objectives are to showcase the work of a multitude of different artistic disciplines and to unite the LBGT community around a common cultural project.

The Festival offers more that 78 hours of free outdoor programming and a number of high-calibre shows that feature over 200 artists and require months of rehearsal time. The Festival also presents a series of indoor shows and parties with performances by artists from both Montreal and around the world.

Programming for the 13 th edition of the Divers/Cité Cultural Festival will be on-line as of May 2005.



The 12 th edition of the Divers/Cité Cultural Festival took place from July 26 to August 1, 2004. There were 12 free shows taking place on 5 different outdoor stages, a modern dance show at Usine C, a comedic drag extravaganza at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal, as well as 3 indoor parties. Over the 7 consecutive days, you could experience it all: Blues, Jazz, R&B, modern dance, cinema, House, Latin, Techno, Electro, Drag Queens, Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop and Pop.
